ABOUT THE EVENT
Ward Creative Studios’ Black Women Empowerment: Sunset Soiree is the highly anticipated signature evening event. This 3rd annual event was designed to celebrate, uplift, highlight, honor, connect, and create a space for Black women across cultures, sectors, and generations in Iowa. It amplifies the unique experiences of Black women. If you're a Black woman living in Iowa who is 21+, you belong here - and we can't wait to celebrate YOU! It's an enhanced ladies' night out. Tickets are limited and go on sale May 24, 2025 ($60). We've had a sold out event the last 2 years.
THE EXPERIENCE
Venue
Hosted at The Venue in West Des Moines. This isn't your typical evening setup. Everyone will feel like they're in VIP. Use the entire space to mingle, allowing you to move and connect.

Announcement of our caterer and menu coming soon! Our menus always fit our themes. When you purchase your tickets, you'll be able to select your dietary needs. Bar services will be provided.

What is Sunset Soiree attire?

When can I register?
Registration will be open May 24 at 12 pm through August 2 at 11:59 pm, or until all tickets have been sold. Tickets are limited and not sold at the door.
Where can I park?
The Venue has free and accessible parking just outside of the venue (behind the building and out front).
